Separators for high fat cream
High-fat cream separators are used primarily in butter production lines. These separators are designed to produce cream with a high mass fraction of fat of 80-85 %.
The design of a high-fat cream separator differs slightly from that of a conventional open-type cream separator. Due to the high viscosity of the processed product (cream), the size of the inter-cylinder gaps in the high-fat cream separator is increased, the productivity is reduced, and the mass fraction of fat in high-fat cream is regulated by a regulator on the churn line.
After 1.5-2 hours of operation, the batch separator must be stopped for unloading the sediment, washing and cleaning.
